HORIZON PUBLIC PORTAL

Providing services to the public for searching for applications, as well as making and submitting applications

Horizon Public Portal provides public-facing access for searching and tracking Planning Applications, Enforcement Notices, and Planning Appeal records. It also provides users with an easy-to-use search and application submission service for Building Control (Building Regulations) and Planning Pre-Applications.

Users can track applications and receive updates about them from Horizon throughout the lifecycle of the application using automated messaging, e-mails and document generation.

Public User Accounts

Horizon Public Portal provides public users with the ability to create user accounts. When logged into their account, they can:

  • Track planning applications (tracking status changes to the application);

  • Neighbour comments and Consultation responses (including uploading documents and attachments);

  • Save searches by setting search parameters, such as o be provided with alerts for planning applications which are registered meeting the search parameters - e.g. New planning applications within 100 metres of my address, etc;

  • Submit Pre-Application and Building Control applications (new submissions are delivered directly to the Horizon Pre-Application and Building Control modules, respectively).

Users can track registered applications and receive updates from Horizon throughout the lifecycle of the application using automated messaging (SMS), e-mails and document generation.
