Users can digitise the boundary of the application using Horizon’s advanced integrated GIS tools, and perform automated screening for constraints to determine proximities of gas pipes, sewer runs, radon gas, and any other items requiring consultation with specialist authorities. Horizon mobile BC application provides the perfect solution for accessing Inspections scheduled that day, viewing case record inspection history, viewing documents, plans and technical drawings via any mobile device. Surveyors in the fields are able to update inspections, upload photographs / images, get new inspections booked that day, and all whilst not having any mobile phone coverage.
In this way, with data cached to the device, everything can then be resynchronised with Horizon Building Control back-office at the click of a button when within a mobile phone coverage area or with Wifi connection.
All inspections are updated and new ones booked appear in the Surveyor's list.
Surveyors are able to send clients PDFs showing work required within minutes of an inspection, delivering seamless service and speeding up the completion process.
